Samantha and Rob were such a fun couple to work with and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in September 2015! They met in Santa Barbara…. he is from Australia and she is from Santa Ynez. They’re incorporating eucalyptus trees into their decor on their wedding day because the trees are abundant in California and Australia …… so, it was only fitting that we did our engagement session “under the gum trees” as they say in Australia.
I’m excited to share my newly designed website and blog! I have gone “back to my roots” as a film photographer, and I’m happy to now offer both film and digital photography. When I first started my business in 2002, I solely shot film and slowly merged to digital. After missing film, I’m happy that I’m able to work with both mediums. We have a great year ahead with events and projects, so stay tuned here to keep up with the latest from Kristen Beinke Photography.

After a fantastic engagement session, I had the honor of photographing Chris and Gabby’s wedding at the Bacara. The details of this wedding were absolutely amazing, thanks to Gabby and her wonderful team of vendors. Gabby designed the wedding and most of the decor herself! WOW – can you say talented? With the help of Sophie Spier of Amazing Day Events, the event went off without a hitch! Thanks Gabby and Chris, it was so wonderful to work with you!
The setting at the Bacara on the Miro Lawn could not have been prettier!
Jennifer from Prim and Pixi was the creator of all things paper for this wedding.
Camilla Svenson Burns did an amazing job on the flowers!!
Gabby and Chris were so fun work with! I really got to know their personalities when we photographed their engagement session. They are totally a “DIY” couple and they made their own “tying the Knot” sign for their save the dates – what a great idea!
